Players will register with local league and pay local league fees. Additionally, players with register for individual tournaments, $10 per tournament.

All Oklahoma players will register with the Altus Oklahoma Local league. Texas players will register with the local league geographically closest to their home address.

A registration form with medical release must be completed for each player. Note: A separate medical release must be filled out for Roaring Springs at sign in table.

Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places for boys and girls in each age group at each tournament. Each local league coordinator is responsible for the cost of their medals and dues.

Points are awarded as follows: 1st= 10pts, 2nd= 7 pts, 3rd = 4 pts and 4th = 1pt. Year-end overall trophies will be awarded to the top three-point winners. Points will be totaled from the best five (5) tournament finishes. To be eligible for a trophy, players must complete at least five (5) tournaments.

Ties at tournaments will be played off. The medal and points will be awarded to the winner. Playoffs will be determined by a chip-off for the K-5th groups and with an extra hole for all other groups.

Play is only allowed on the day of the tournament.

Boys and girls age groups play separately. Flights are based on the child’s grade level completed. Players may advance UP to the next age level BEFORE the tournament season begins. However, they MUST remain in that age group the entire season.

K-3rd boys and girls 4 holes 150 yards 9 stroke limit They will not play over water hazards or out of sand traps. Any unavoidable water hazards will be played as casual water. Holes may be less than 150 yards on some courses but never over.

4th-5th Boys and girls 5 holes 200 yards 9 stroke limit They will not play over water hazards or out of sand traps. Any unavoidable water hazards will be played as casual water. Exception: Par 3 holes will be played from the women’s tee box for girls and men’s tee box for boys (4th-5th) holes will not be over 200 yards but may be less than 200 yards at some courses.

Please be at the course and check in 15 minutes before tee time. Announcements will begin at this time.

Adults must be present for all K-3rd players, or the child will not be able to play, and parents will be called. Players not registered online may not be permitted to play.

Parents and monitors may use a cart when available. Be mindful of your position on the course and stay clear of play.

Parents and the gallery are not permitted to coach players once play has begun.

Instructing players on club selection is not allowed.

All strokes, including whiffs are counted. If a player intentionally swings and misses the stroke is counted as a whiff. Should you accidently hit your ball during a practice swing you will need to add a penalty stroke to your score and replace your ball to its original position. We have a 9-stroke limit in all divisions.

Please limit practice swings to 3 to help keep pace.

In addition to the monitor, all players 6th grade and up will keep opponents score cards during play. Scores should be verified after each hole away from green. All Scores must be totaled prior to turn in, including monitor cards. Also, cards must be signed by players and scorers. You will bring scores as a group to the registration table as scores are inputted.

All players must carry their own clubs. Pull carts are allowed. Players may ride on carts to their first hole and from their last hole to the clubhouse.

No running on the golf course. Keep carts and bags off green. Repair ball marks on greens. Avoid horseplay and actions that may distract other players.

Players must mark your balls on the greens.

Stay quiet while other players are hitting.

Unless a ball is unusable or unplayable, ball substitution can only be made between holes.

Players may take relief of swing and stance from obstructions (man-made obstacles like sprinkler heads, cart paths and yardage posts) no closer to the hole, with no penalty. Trees and other natural obstacles are not considered obstructions. Other relief will be announced on a course-by-course basis. Typically, one club length improvement is allowed, no closer to the hole, at each tournament on this tour. Rules will be clarified before play begins.

Do not throw the flag stick down, lay it gently on the edge of the green.

Be mindful of other players line on the greens and avoid stepping in their path. Avoid casting a shadow in the line of a player’s ball as they putt.

Range finders that measure distance are allowed for junior high and high school. Range finders that measure slope are not allowed.

Proper dress attire is required (collared shirt). NO tank tops, halter tops, muscle tees, or cutoffs, shorts must be mid-thigh.

A ball is lost if the player and members of the group cannot locate it within 3 minutes. If a ball is lost or out of bounds, the player must take a stroke and distance relief by adding 1 penalty stroke and playing the original ball or another ball from where the previous stroke was made. Any local changes to the stroke and distance penalty for being out of bounds will be announced before play begins. Some tournaments may choose not to play the distance penalty for balls out of bounds for younger age groups to speed play.

Please maintain a good pace during the play. Players will receive only 1 warning for slow play. After that, an official can add 1 penalty stroke to a player’s score. After a 3rd warning, the player will be asked to turn the card in and be disqualified.

Players must follow USGA Rules and etiquette, as well as Texas UIL rules. Any local rules will be announced before play begins during announcements 15 min before tee off. Please ask questions for clarification during these announcements.

Each town may have additional rules that apply to their course. If so, these announcements will be made prior to tee off. Players are responsible for listening to the rules and all announcements.

If there is a question of ruling, play a provisional ball and record both scores. Should a concern arise during play, please use the phone contact number on the score card for assistance.

Adults and players should be respectful and kind to everyone at each tournament. This tour is operated by volunteers and would not have been possible without their help.
